Listening to the Light: My Art

My name is Balazs Feher. I have been painting since early childhood, and over time, what began as instinct grew into a quiet discipline. Without formal training, I developed my craft through observation, patience, and a deep sensitivity to the moods of nature.

My oil landscapes are quiet invitations; evocations of places real and remembered. I am drawn to the intelligent simplicity of impressionism, where precision is found in restraint. I am especially captivated by the lights of dawn, when the world turns gently from silence to life and every color is newly born!

Each painting is created with absolute care, the process slow, focused, and immersive. Inspired by my travels, from childhood trips to quiet forest walks as an adult, I do not try to impose meaning. Instead, I offer space for the viewer to pause, to feel, perhaps even to remember something they cannot name.
