About Balázs Fehér

Born in Hungary, grew up in Ontario, Canada, I now live and paint in Vienna, Austria. I have been painting since I was a child and have continued to learn and develop my style over the years. I am self-taught, so most of what I know has come from observing great artists and their works, and simply spending a lot of time painting.

I work mainly with oil paints and am especially drawn to impressionism. What captures my attention most in a scene is light and the atmosphere, this is what I try to recreate through my paintings.
